Notice to singers 20 November 2025
Dear Singers,
Everything again this week – please have a look at those bits Nick went over last time and if there are any bits you think are a bit flaky for you please ask him to go over them!
Concert – repeat of last week
Concert dress – black skirt/trousers and black top, with maroon scarf, for ladies. Black suit with maroon bow tie for gents. Black folders. If you don’t have a scarf, bow tie, or black folder, please see either me or Lynda. As usual for our concerts, we will need to be in the choir room at 3.40pm for a quick warm up, after which we will line up, folders under right arm, and go in to the Church. I will sit you when we’re all in. After the housekeeping stuff, I’m going to be doing a presentation to Pat; when that is done and I have returned to my seat, Nick and Katharina will come in and we will stand.
Please speak to me or Lynda if you are able to help with refreshments for the concert and please bring any comestibles you think would go down well – cakes, biscuits etc.
Music return – not required until the rehearsal on 27th November UNLESS you aren’t going to be there, in which case I will need your copies back on concert night. Please remember to give me these personally as they are not numbered and I need to tick you off the list!
Christmas
A link to the provisional (may be tweaked, may not be) programme for this is below; if you’ve a ‘100 Carols for Choirs’ so much the better. I’ll be handing out the booklet next week.
