Guidance for Singers

AFC Covid Guidance for Singers |
COVID-19 Risk Guidance for AFC Rehearsals – Version 5 (7th April 2022)
If
you wish to discuss any of the measures below, or believe something
important has been missed, please contact a Committee Member.
Before rehearsal - school responsibilities
The
caretaker:
has 2 sets of chairs and ensures that the ones we
use the following week are a different set so he knows they are
'clean';
uses an anti-bac spray on the chairs we have used
before he puts them back in store.
The chairs are not used by anyone else during the week.
The school is following guidance given by UK Healthcare Professions.
Before rehearsal - singer’s responsibilities
Please stay away from rehearsals if you:
have any symptoms of COVID-19, and have a high temperature or you do not feel well enough to go to work or do your normal activities.
have tested positive for COVID-19 – this means it's very likely you have the virus.
(If you have COVID-19, you can pass on the virus to other people for up to 10 days from when your infection starts. Many people will no longer be infectious to others after 5 days.)
Also, please consider carefully your possible exposure to COVID-19 risk in the past week, and if in doubt DO NOT COME to rehearsal. We assume that you sensibly will NOT COME to rehearsal if you have other symptoms or feel unwell, or have had close contact with someone who has told you they may have COVID-19.
On arrival
Enter through usual entrance.
During rehearsal
Upper level windows and internal doors will have been open beforehand, and will remain open during rehearsal.
Chairs will be spaced normally for convenience of singing.
On departure
Exit through either the double-doors facing the car park OR the foyer.
